Around the Vostewylde

Duma the Pixie is a friendly little sprite from the Southern Greypeaks who likes long walks on by the river, singing friends to sleep, chasing fireflies, and pestering travelers.

Dawson the Paladin
is a fallen Paladin--fallen from his order and on rough times. He failed as an adventurer in the Marsh of Chelimber and turned to a life of banditry in the Greypeaks. Recently, he failed at that. Word has it he set off in the direction of Firburg.

Captain Prex of the 47th Mountain was a very old goblin, veteran of the Great Goblin Wars of the Greypeaks. He does not seem to harbor any of the inherent evil common to many other goblins, though maybe it just leaked out of him over his 70+ years. Prex is in charge of maintaining the wooden suspension bridge on the trail from Lakeville to Myth Sveldin. He charges a toll for the bridge's use. Recently, he agreed to join the Misfit Six & Co. on their adventure to Myth Sveldin.

Lieutenant Falz is was a heavily-pierced goblin in the throes of senility. He is was Prex's right hand man, and claims to be the brains behind many of the successful campaigns against squirrels and raccoons during the Great Goblin War of the Greypeaks. He died protecting his company from a stone golem in Myth Sveldin, and was eulogized by his longtime friend and captain, Prex.

Quartermaster Kargi and Dunny the Wolf run the tavern at Den No. 47, and recently agreed to accompany the Misfit Six on their adventure to Myth Sveldin.

Po Trout is was a retired gnome adventurer, famous in Lakeville for discovering and solving the troublesome "statue trap" in Myth Sveldin. He works in town as a fisherman, though his skills have been described as mediocre. He has agreed to accompany the group to Myth Sveldin and join Rya as a guide. He was killed by the party when it was discovered he was an illithid's thrall.

Rya Rezna is a female human sorcerer, the spitting image of her late mother, Sha'hale. She has turned in the busy Weirish life with The Hibernal and D'Luk for the relaxed hisperin lifestyle as a retired adventurer in Lakeville. She recently returned from plundering the wonders of Myth Sveldin and has agreed to serve as a guide for the group on their journey.

Mother the Goblin is an old, semi-demented shaman of sorts, presiding over Den No. 47. She sometimes hears voices in the waterfall and has promised to research the party's cast iron key.

Surrey Blaine is a barkeep in Lakeville. He is generous in doling out beverages "with."

The Lady of the Glen is an ancient, vaguely elvish, crone who has her homestead in Hag's Glen. She claims to be over 1,000 years old. Maybe the glen is named for her. She invited the Misfit Six in for biscuits and gave them a choice between three items before sending them on their journey. The group chose a complex cast iron key.

Kearn'an the Bold was a large, battle-scarred redheaded man of the Innesbyr guard, or one of the Captain's men, not entirely clear, but one of the leaders of the force installed around Old Weir and charged with regional protective services. He was rumored to be looking for suspects in two recent murders on the Innesbyr road, one an entire patrol of guards, presumably under his command. Kearn'an has recently gone missing...

Bask Briarcloak is a powerful half-orc druid of Silvanus recluse who lives in the Forgotten forest. She is direct, blunt, and has a hard exterior, though some claim she has a soft spot for tough cases. The Hibernal claim she was responsible for curing Sha'hale Rezna of a laudinsfos addiction when she first became a member of the Hibernal, some twenty years ago. More recently, Bask has claimed a corruption in the forest has made it more difficult for her to perform her Hibernal Solstice rites, and she has been having trouble drawing power from "The Gate", a massive oak in her grove through which she has a connection to her god, Silvanus.

Evan Farmhand is from Firsburg but agreed to work on a farm on the frontier outskirts of Old Weir. He was discovered hiding in an outhouse while two carrion crawlers feasted on his employers.

Sister Orsun and Brother Dorius manage Ebbonstone Abbey, a temple to the god of knowledge, Deneir. Dorius is tight-lipped while Orsun is quite academic. They specialize in obscure medical cases and healing. They helped cure Vestral Valgue of a vampire spawn bite.

Shifu is a master potter, renowned in the land for his craft. He works out of a place in the Greypeaks known simply as Shifu's Refuge, where Ironica spent a good deal apprenticing under him, and trying to forget some of her misspent youth. He recently agreed to help a vampire spawn named Lord Woddyr Damien construct a weapon.

Lord Woddyr Damien is a landed noble from the northern area of the Greycloak Hills. He is known to be a generous patron of the arts. Recently he seems to have come into some trouble, and was turned into a vampire spawn by Devoss Stradgar, a powerful vampire. To seek revenge he is working with some of the land's finest artisans to craft a mysterious weapon he believes can take down the vampire. The group has agreed to help him in this task, and to kill him once it is complete.
