Wade's Bog

Wade's Bog, Wade's Bog, sister went wading in Wade's Bog
Now momma's worried, sick as a dog,
'cause sister went wading in Wade's Bog

Once a major center for peat farming, Wade's Bog has is now a haunted and desolate place. At one point it was said the peat harvested from Wade's Bog could fuel the hearths of the Greypeak region for an entire winter. The Homestead of the Greypeaks, they called it. No longer. Ever since it became the site of a major battle a couple centuries ago, locals have turned superstitious about the place--swearing that winking lights will lead you astray and that foul creatures haunt the premises.

Some see it as nonsense, others are loathe to even pass it by on the Daggerford Road.
